We are looking for a motivated Tour Consultant Intern to help us design unforgettable East African safari experiences. You’ll assist with crafting itineraries, handling client inquiries, confirming bookings, and supporting our team with marketing and customer service. Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and costing custom safari itineraries.
- Respond to client emails, calls, and online inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Prepare travel proposals, quotations, and detailed travel documents.
- Liaise with hotels, camps, lodges, and transport providers to confirm bookings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of destinations, lodges, park regulations, and current travel trends.
- Provide excellent customer care before, during, and after travel.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree (in progress or completed) in Tourism, Travel Operations, Hospitality, or related field
- Excellent written and spoken English; other languages (French, German, Italian) are an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of East African safari destinations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, email, basic online research)
- Passion for wildlife conservation and sustainable travel
