Job summary
Sales-oriented Tour Consultant needed for Pinkelle Safaris to handle clients from enquiry to closing. Role includes tour itineraries & quotations, bookings, invoicing, receipts, follow-up, and converting leads into sales. Commission-heavy role for a sharp, detail-oriented closer.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Respond to client enquiries promptly and professionally
- Prepare accurate tour quotations and tailor-made travel packages
- Design and customize itineraries based on client needs, budget, and travel dates
- Follow up leads and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Handle bookings, invoicing, receipts, and client records
- Coordinate with hotels, lodges, drivers, guides, and other suppliers
- Support both B2C and B2B enquiries for Pinkelle Safaris
- Maintain organized communication through WhatsApp, email, and phone
- Ensure smooth client handling from first contact to post-booking follow-up
- Experience as a Tour Consultant, Travel Consultant, or in a similar travel/tourism role creating itineraries and tour packages
- Must know how to prepare tour quotations, build tour packages, and customize itineraries
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Confident in closing deals and handling objections
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Able to work fast and accurately under pressure
- Comfortable using email, WhatsApp, Excel, and online systems
- Sales experience is a strong advantage
- Base salary plus commission-heavy earning structure
- High performers will have strong income growth potential based on results
