DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Revenue Growth:
· Promote and sell FMCG products to wholesalers, retailers, and other key accounts in the assigned territory.
· Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
· Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base.
Customer Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
· Understand customer needs and provide solutions to drive loyalty.
· Address customer queries and complaints professionally and promptly.
Territory & Inventory Management:
· Plan daily sales routes to maximize coverage and efficiency.
· Maintain proper stock levels in the van, ensuring products are fresh and available.
· Monitor product movement and report slow-moving or high-demand items.
Reporting & Market Insights:
· Provide accurate daily and weekly sales reports to the Sales Manager.
· Share feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
· Suggest improvements in product positioning or promotions based on market insights.
Compliance & Safety:
· Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and road safety regulations.
· Maintain proper documentation of sales, deliveries, and cash collections.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Van Sales Man in FMCG sales.
· Good knowledge of Nairobi GT market and wholesalers.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
· Valid driver’s license with excellent driving skills.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Energetic, motivated, and customer-focused.
