Responsible for successful delivery for Kenya and East Africa, leading and managing the local market and focusing on building a sustainable CPaaS business platform to enhance the company’s value proposition and to meet and exceed the sales objectives for the region
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Create a New Market Sales “Growth Plan”
• Focus is on New Business
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients
• Develop, manage and communicate Account Development Plans for the client base
• Manage sales expense in line with budget
• Represent the company at events and executive reviews
• Conduct credible and actionable market research
• Participate in regular team communication across the organization
• Provide regular management updates on the progress to plan
• Prioritize sales activities and drive sales growth according profitability expectations
• Communicating new product developments to existing prospective clients.
1-100 days KPIs:
1. Create and secure management sign off for a Strategic Sales “Growth Plan”
2. Identify sales priorities and focus verticals, and develop ‘fast track’ action plan
3. Define and communicate the “Kenya Road Map” illustrating key business targets to be focused on.
4. Develop a ‘go to market’ strategy, including definition of key influencers for greatest opportunity growth / impact in short timeframe
5. Establish direct contact at “C Level” with all the key accounts and/or large prospects
6. Establish Account Development Plan program
7. Provide accurate, timely management information on a weekly/ad hoc basis as required
8. Meet and exceed first 100 days qualitative and quantitative objectives
• Minimum of 8 years selling experience to B2B/enterprise customers.
• Experience is Communications Technology sector with experience selling CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) or VAS (Value added services) is highly preferred.
• International/Domestic Travel will be required.
