Career Options Africa Group is a HR Consultancy firm specializing in Recruitment, HR outsourcing, and Immigration support in Africa with offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi, Nigeria, South Africa, and South Sudan.

Our client, a recruiting company based in Germany, is currently seeking diligent candidates for the position of Kitchen Chef/Cook.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Innovate and develop new recipes and menu items.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:
The job holder should have the following qualifications:

• Degree in Culinary, Gastronomy, Restaurant and Cooking techniques, hospitality or a related course from a university listed as H+ on the anabin website.
• Age: 21-40 years old.
• Completed or currently enrolled for B1 German Language.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience as kitchen cook/kitchen chef
• Valid recommendations from previous employers and  pictures of dishes cooked.
• Financial readiness as this is a self-sponsored position
• Appropriate work attitude and ethics, leadership skills.

WHAT WE ARE OFFERING THE RIGHT PERSON:
We are offering successful candidates:

• Salary: 13-16 EUR/hour.
• Working Hours: 40 hours/week + occasional overtime (paid).
