Job Title: Outreach Marketing & Business Development Officer

Our client in the event industry are looking to hire a Marketing & Business Development Officer who will be responsible for driving revenue growth, partnerships, and brand visibility for the company through proactive market engagement, client acquisition, and strategic outreach.
The role focuses on scouting the market, conducting industry surveys, pitching to clients, developing commercial proposals, and delivering presentations to secure sponsorships, brand partnerships, media deals, and event activations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Market Scouting & Industry Research
- Conduct continuous market scouting across entertainment, media, advertising, lifestyle, youth, and corporate sectors to identify business opportunities.
- Carry out industry surveys to understand client needs, brand trends, sponsorship demand, and consumer engagement patterns.
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and market positioning.
- Maintain updated market intelligence reports and prospect databases.
2. Client Outreach & Pitching
- Identify, approach, and engage prospective corporate clients, agencies, sponsors, and partners.
- Pitch the company’s offerings including events, media platforms, digital solutions, experiential marketing, and brand activations.
- Build and manage strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Attend industry events, launches, forums, and networking sessions to generate leads.
3. Proposal Development & Presentations
- Develop compelling commercial proposals, sponsorship decks, concept notes, and quotations tailored to client objectives.
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations and pitches to clients and partners.
- Coordinate internal inputs from creative, production, finance, and operations teams for proposal development.
- Follow up on proposals, negotiate terms, and support deal closure.
4. Campaign & Partnership Support
- Support execution of outreach campaigns and partnership activations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure delivery of promised client value and sponsorship benefits.
- Track performance of partnerships, sponsorships, and campaigns against agreed KPIs.
- Gather client feedback and support relationship retention and repeat business.
5. Reporting & Revenue Tracking
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, client engagements, proposals, and deals.
- Prepare regular sales, outreach, and pipeline reports for management.
- Track revenue targets, conversion rates, and return on investment for outreach initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Development, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, outreach marketing, sponsorship acquisition, or business development—preferably in entertainment, media, events, or advertising.
- Strong pitching, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and relationship management abilities.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working in the field.
- Strong understanding of brand partnerships, sponsorships, and experiential marketing.
Working Conditions
- Office-based with extensive field engagement and client meetings.
- Requires travel and flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, aligned with events and client schedules.
- Performance-driven role with clear revenue and outreach targets.
