Job Summary
A construction company dealing with interior design is seeking a competent project manager with a keen interest on quality, project time line, customer relationship and human resource management. The project manager will be in charge of Fundi’s on site and manage client expectation.

Job Description/Requirements
1. Project Management: Direct and oversee design and construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
2. Team Coordination: Work closely with interior designers, sales teams, inventory managers, and site personnel to streamline project operations.
3. Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Site Supervision: Manage on-site activities, ensuring the team adheres to safety procedures, quality standards, and project schedules.
5. Resource Allocation: Manage labor, materials, and subcontractor resources effectively to meet project requirements.
6. Effective Communication: Facilitate clear and consistent communication between clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
7. Problem Solving: Address and resolve project challenges promptly to maintain client satisfaction and minimize delays or disruptions.
8. Budgeting: Track and control project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
9. Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure quality materials and timely deliveries.
10. Process Improvement: Stay informed about industry developments and best practices, contributing to the enhancement of project management processes.
Qualifications & Skills
● Must have a bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
● Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in managing construction projects.
● Proven ability to handle high value projects within tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
● In-depth knowledge of resource planning, inventory control and interdepartmental coordination.
● Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
● Proficiency in using project management tools and software.
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to unexpected challenges effectively.
