POSITION TITLE: Regional Manager
REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer
BASIC FUNCTION
This position is responsible to oversee the function of individual branches within the region. The regional manager is expected to support each individual branch manager in his efforts to make the branch successful and ensure that each branch in his region is organized and functioning within the guidelines and directives put in place by the head office. He is also responsible for collecting feedback from branches and presenting it to the head office in an organized manner.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Branches Operations Management
- Visit branches regularly
- Conduct regular audits in every facet of the branches’ operations.
- Derive a gap analysis to understand what areas the branch needs improvement in.
- Make a strategy together with the branch team to fill these gaps.
- Monitor and evaluate periodically to ensure all gaps are filled and the branch is running smoothly.
- Mentor, assist, and work with the branch to ensure set targets are achieved.
- Guide and assist the team in achieving their set performance goals. `
- Working with service supervisors to ensure the smooth running of branches.
Human Resource Management
- Conduct an HR audit periodically to identify whether the branch is staffed correctly and if the skills of the current staff are adequate.
- Fill any gaps in the number of staff and skills by recruiting and training.
- Maintain open communication channels with staff and exercise leadership in the motivation of the staff members.
Making budgets for the region
- Assess the needs of each branch in terms of all capital requirements and major renovations (vehicles, equipment, and building improvements) and send recommendations to the head office.
- Ensure spending is within budget
Business development within the region
- Assess the need of opening new branches and scout for appropriate locations.
- Continuously evaluate new business opportunities within the region and ensure that the relevant branches capture this business.
- Explore strategic partnership opportunities
- Support the introduction of new products into the region.
- Maintaining good relationships with high-net customers
- Gather market information and inform management
- Work together with marketing to explore opportunities in the region
- And any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
- Degree in sales and marketing or commerce or business administration.
- At least 5 years experience as a branch manager in our organization.

- Familiarity with the region.
