Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Travel Consultant to join our Nairobi-based team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, selling, and coordinating custom travel itineraries. You’ll interact with both local and international clients, manage bookings with suppliers, and play a key role in delivering world-class service and experiences.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, price, and coordinate tailor-made travel itineraries for individual and group clients
  • Respond promptly to client enquiries via email, phone, or in person'
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date travel information and recommendations
  • Liaise with accommodation providers, airlines, guides, and other partners
  • Manage bookings, reservations, and amendments
  • Assist with pre-departure preparations, including visas, vaccinations, packing lists, etc.
  • Ensure excellent customer service throughout the entire client journey
  • Maintain detailed records of all interactions and transactions
  • Stay updated on travel trends, safety updates, and emerging destinations


Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the travel industry (safari or luxury travel preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan and East African travel destinations
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with travel CRM systems
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client itineraries simultaneously
  • Customer-first attitude with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences
