Job Description
Salary: KES 50,000 Gross
Location: Mombasa
Reporting to: Sales & Marketing Manager
Role Purpose
Talent Grid Africa on behalf of their client in the security solutions industry is hiring a Sales
Executive. The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying
new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to
customers. The role requires a proactive, target-driven individual who can effectively prospect,
negotiate, and close sales while representing the company professionally in the market.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify business opportunities by evaluating prospects and analyzing their position within the
industry.
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and emerging trends.
• Cold call, respond to incoming email and phone inquiries, and schedule meetings with
prospective clients.
• Attend meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business opportunities.
• Sell products and services by establishing contact, building relationships, and recommending
suitable solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotations and customized proposals after clearly understanding client
requirements.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close sales successfully.
• Review personal sales performance regularly to meet or exceed set targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing continuous support, guidance, and after-
sales service.
• Research and recommend new opportunities, product improvements, and service enhancements
to clients.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Represent the company at trade exhibitions, industry events, demonstrations, and sales
activations.
• Promote company products and services in a professional and consistent manner.
• Prepare weekly sales activity reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
• Provide feedback on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Identify potential product improvements or new product opportunities based on market
research.
• Contribute to overall team targets and initiatives.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in security solutions sales or business development.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems is an added advantage.
