Job Summary

This position will be responsible for the overall sales of our client products both locally made and imported.

  • Minimum Qualification : Bachelors
  • Experience Level : Senior level
  • Experience Length : 7 years

Job Description/Requirements

Tasks:

1.    Achievement of Sales and Profitability Targets for the Defined Portfolio in Key Accounts within the Sales Region 

·         Negotiation of Sales Targets and Incentives for Key Accounts by direct involvement with their Procurement Teams. 

·         Planning and budgeting of all commercial activities within the Key Account including debt collection, KOL Management, CMEs, Medical Camps, User trainings, Congresses and Seminars, IT Projects, Use of product samples, etc. 

·         Coordination of special projects/turnkey projects 

·         Smart Target Setting for individual Sales Team members including Western/Coastal Region. 

·         Driving value-selling concepts in coordination with Marketing.  

·         Planning of all Sales Activities conducted by the Sales Team in Key Account Hospitals and Continuous Tracking of the Sales Performance of all Team members and initiation of corrective actions where required. 

2.   Manage Distributor Activities in Key Accounts by setting Targets and following-up on Results. 

3.   Planning of Product demands together with the Supply Team and coordinate stock clearing campaigns. 

4.   Manage national tenders in coordination with Finance and Customer Service 

5.   Generate Customer Intelligence into Marketing department 

6.   Monthly Performance Reports to MD


 Qualification:

a.    Degree in Life Sciences/nursing/biochemistry/Pharmacy/medicine/nuitrition a masters degree will be an added advantage.

b.   Should have a minimum of 7 years experience in a senior or similar position.

c.    Experience in sales in pharmaceuticals and medical devices and Intravascular Devices

d.   Mandatory hands on experience in sales in Kenya

e.    Excellent organizational skills and planning skills

f.    Excellent leadership skills
