About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Somali-Speaking Real Estate Sales Agent to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for Somali-speaking clients, guiding them through the property buying, selling, and leasing process with professionalism and cultural sensitivity. You will play a key role in expanding our presence within the Somali-speaking community both locally and in East Africa.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Sales
• Identify, engage, and convert prospective Somali-speaking clients through referrals, community outreach, and digital channels.
• Conduct property viewings, presentations, and consultations in both Somali and English as required.
• Negotiate property transactions on behalf of clients, ensuring favorable outcomes for all parties.
• Maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and provide regular updates to management.
Market & Community Development
• Build and sustain strong relationships within the Somali-speaking business and diaspora communities.
• Represent the company at community events, real estate expos, and networking forums.
• Provide market insights and feedback on Somali-speaking client needs to inform sales strategy.
Documentation & Compliance
• Prepare and review property listings, sale agreements, lease contracts, and related documentation.
• Ensure all transactions comply with applicable real estate laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the CRM system.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential
• Fluency in Somali (spoken and written) — this is a non-negotiable requirement.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Arabic, Swahili) are an advantage.
• Proven experience in real estate sales, property management, or a related field (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Valid real estate license or eligibility to obtain one within the required timeframe.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Preferred
• Existing network within the Somali-speaking business or diaspora community.
• Familiarity with real estate markets in East Africa, particularly Somalia.
• Experience using CRM platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
