Job Description/Requirements
This is an entry level job that does not need any experience. The job is a daily 6-hour shift (for 6 days), pays KES. 20,000 (with a take-home of KES 17,000) during the probation period and KES. 25,000 once confirmed. Additionally, the job has been designed to provide you with relevant and modern day digital skills that will equip you with what you need to launch a career in the e-commerce industry.
You will be stationed at a supermarket within Nairobi and will be issued with a smartphone device that has an order picking app. Customers will make digital orders for supermarket items and these orders will be sent to your order picking app.
Your role will be to:
- Charge and maintain the smartphone device issued to you to enable it to receive orders at all times.
- Accept all orders that are posted to the order picking app.
- Accurately pick items from the supermarket shelves based on what customers have ordered.
- In the event an ordered item is out of stock, call customers and convince them to accept alternatives.
- Handover the items you have picked to the cashier.
