Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
• Design and sell customized travel packages for individuals, groups, and corporate clients.
• Recommend destinations, travel routes, accommodation, and activities based on client preferences.
• Negotiate with hotels, airlines, transport providers, and other service providers to get competitive rates.
• Upsell and cross-sell travel packages and services to maximize revenue.
• Handle client inquiries via phone, email, or in-person meetings and provide expert travel advice.
• Process bookings, reservations, and confirmations for flights, accommodations, tours, and transport.
• Ensure seamless coordination of travel plans and itineraries for clients.
• Address and resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies promptly.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest travel trends, new destinations, and emerging tourism markets.
• Develop relationships with local and international travel agencies, hotels, airlines, and other partners.
• Identify and target new customer segments to grow sales and market reach.
• Participate in tourism fairs, networking events, and promotional activities to attract clients.
• Advise clients on visa requirements, travel insurance, health regulations, and other travel documentation.
• Ensure all travel bookings comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer interactions.
Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years experience in a similar role within a tour and travel company.
• Proven track record in travel sales and customer service.
• Experience with travel booking systems (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of local and international travel destinations.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and partners.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills to convert leads into bookings.
• Attention to detail in planning and organizing travel itineraries.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of multiple languages is an advantage.
