Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund supplies 1 million smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms vastly more productive. Our 8,000+ team is drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions. About the Role
One Acre Fund operates in Kenya under the Tupande brand. We operate in 27 counties, providing impactful products and services to farmers across Kenya. As Tupande’s Retail Operations Controls Specialist, you will apply your leadership and problem-solving skills to assist with the daily operations of the Retail Team. You will work within Tupande’s Rural Retail team to maintain a high-quality control environment across our daily operations. On a daily basis, you will interact with members of our customer-facing teams to manage inventory and financial controls and reconciliations. You will manage compliance with Tupande inventory and financial and anti-fraud policies.
You will report to the Director of Retail Operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage POS / Cash received reconciliation daily across all retail outlets;
- Manage the monthly inventory stock counts across all Tupande Dukas, including reconciliation against our inventory management system;
- Manage daily reconciliation of inventory movements throughout our retail network;
- Point person for all HR-related actions, as a result of non-compliance with our inventory, financial and anti-fraud policies.
- Identify issues and provide workable solutions/recommendations on how to improve the controls environment within the Tupande retail operations
- Perform additional tasks as requested by the manager.

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have the following:
- 3+ years of experience in audit, inventory management/business processes
- Excellent spreadsheet/business intelligence skills
- Analytical and with the capacity to overcome difficult problems creatively
- Fluent in English and Kiswahili
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
