Job Description/Requirements
The company Market sales leader will be responsible for leading and overseeing the sales of the Brown’s Food Co. Portfolio within the Markets as well as their online platform. You will ensure our brand and products are positioned well, always stocked, manage continuous activations + be the liaison between us and Artcaffe markets.
This position is based in Rhapta with movement to the other stores on a routine basis.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
• Maintain strong brand shelf presence in all market stores.
• Ensure hygiene standards of our products in the store (FIFO)
• Create tasting and awareness calendar for all brands instore and online.
• Manage all stock levels correctly – do the orders
• Reach key sales targets for the stores
• promoting company products.
• Educating customers about products.
• Increasing brand awareness.
• Maintaining a positive image of the brand.
• Working closely with sales and marketing on marketing strategies.
• Responding to customer insights + sharing with head office
TOP ACCOUNTABILITIES
Deliver on:
1. Sales versus budget
2. Sales across shelf/deli and online
3. Strong brand presence within the store
4. Host sampling/tasting events in conjunction with company market.
5. Timely orders to head office including specials.
6. Branding materials for our products within company market.

• Training of company market staff on our products – creating training manuals
• Liaison with company market to ensure good working relationship.

Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Proven experience in customer facing position min 3 yrs
• Experience working for a food company
• Marketing experience a plus
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Problem-solving skills
• Strong brand knowledge
• Love of food
• Social media camera skills experience

Leadership Responsibilities
This role is the brand champion within the stores. You will interface directly with company managers and staff. You will report to the retail manager and Director of Browns on your weekly report.
