JOB PURPOSE:
In charge of developing sales strategies, handling customer complaints, assisting in recruiting sales staff, and delegating tasks to the team when the sales manager is absent.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Sales and Business Development:
• Assist in formulating and executing sales strategies.
• Identify business opportunities and contribute to sales campaigns.
• Monitor sales performance and report to the Commercial Manager.
2 Team Management and Training:
• Supervise, motivate, and train the sales team.
• Organize sales meetings and training to improve performance.
• Provide feedback and performance evaluations for team members.
3 Customer Relationship and Operational Support:
• Build and maintain customer relationships to foster loyalty.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Ensure accurate sales transactions and product availability.
Reporting, Analysis, and Policy Adherence:
• Prepare reports on sales data, market trends, and competitor analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial tracking.
• Support the Commercial Manager in strategic decisions and emergency duties.
Requirements
ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
Qualifications include:
• BS/BA in business administration, finance or similar field minimum; MS/MA is a plus.
RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 5 years working experience
• The candidate must be fluent in both Somali and English.
• Communication skill.
• Writing skill reporting at a senior level
• Organizational skill
• Confidentiality skills for handling sensitive information
