Job Summary

Vayacom Ltd is seeking a results-driven and strategic Business Development Executive to drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting our range of ICT and internet connectivity solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding our market presence and generating leads.

Job Description/Requirements

  • Identify, engage, and convert potential business clients in need of reliable internet and ICT solutions.
  • Promote Vayacom’s business internet packages, including dedicated internet and fiber connectivity.
  • Conduct client needs assessments and develop tailored proposals to meet connectivity and infrastructure requirements.
  • Close high-value deals and ensure a seamless handover to the technical team for implementation.
  • Provide regular updates on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback.
  • Work closely with internal teams (technical, customer service) to ensure delivery of promised solutions and after-sales support.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.

 

 

 

Requirements


Education & Experience


  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing,Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience selling business internet services is a MUST.
  • Experience working with an ISP or ICT company is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales and meeting sales quotas.


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Ability to prepare professional proposals and deliver engaging sales presentations.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.


Added Advantage

  • Knowledge of ICT infrastructure (structured cabling, IP phones, CCTV) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the Nairobi business landscape.
  • Valid driver’s license or ability to travel to meet clients.
