Bariiso Dansa Limited is a Nairobi-based investment company specializing in real estate development, financial services, and more. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team.
Summary
Reporting directly to the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, the Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a pivotal role in fostering strategic partnerships, driving sales, and accelerating our growth trajectory. You will also contribute to the development of integrated marketing campaigns, digital content, social media initiatives, and customer relationship management efforts.
Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and close business opportunities at all revenue levels.
- Ensure timely client payments.
- Contribute to the formulation and execution of digital marketing strategies.
- Research and analyze market opportunities in both existing and new markets.
- Oversee the digital marketing budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Continuously track, evaluate, and optimize business development strategies.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability in line with company targets.
- Monitor competitor activities and propose strategic improvements.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to uncover new opportunities and address customer needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (additional qualifications are a plus).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development within real estate or investment banking environments, with a focus on real estate investments.
- Proven track record in promoting investment opportunities in real estate properties.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to compellingly articulate the company’s value proposition.
- Demonstrated persuasiveness, goal orientation, and a results-driven mindset.
- Energetic, outgoing, and personable demeanor.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, online marketing tools, and best practices.
- Strong ability to close sales and deals, coupled with exceptional time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of ownership over performance and outcomes.
- Critical thinker, problem solver, and detail-oriented with high integrity.
- Self-driven and proactive with a passion for driving the company’s success.
