Our client is an established engineering firm providing good housing. They seek to hire a Business Development Specialist who will be responsible for creating leads, closing sales and managing key sales accounts in Warehouse Construction, Cold-rooms and Corporates in the Agribusiness Sector.

Job Description/Requirements
The position holder will be a key sales driver for and will highly contribute to meeting the company’s sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
· Cultivating solid relationships with customers to ensure a continuous flow of sales revenue.
· Identifying promising prospects through cold-calling, networking, and customer referrals.
· Increase overall sales as well as in specific market segments.
· Responsible for Bids, Tender, contract and MOU negotiation with assigned customers to increase sales.
· Work with management to develop sales and marketing strategy that works for the assigned segments.
· Ensuring that all assigned sales administration and customer service activities run smoothly.
· Maintaining accurate records of the total number of sales made potential and existing customers.
· Under the guidance of the Senior Sales Manager and Regional Director, analyzing sales metrics to determine whether current sales strategies are effective for the assigned segment.
· Conducting in-depth research on competitors' products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management or administration, marketing, communications, or a related field is a must.
- Must have over 10 Years of Sales Experience in the Construction and Agricultural Industry.
- Must have experience in selling into the Agricultural Industry, corporate-sponsored projects and a network of Agricultural corporate connections at both National and County levels.
- Experience selling into Flower firms, Tea Factories, Coffee Firms, Avocado Firms and Agribusiness space and is a Must.
- Proven sales experience an excellent track record.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Communicate well both in writing and verbally.
- Can create compelling slide decks, Proposals, and other sales tools.
- Should own a car for transportation.
- Must be willing to travel
