Job Summary

The role of a chef is to manage the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food in the kitchen. The Chef ensures meals served are delicious, healthy, and to customers' delight, keeping a positive kitchen culture. Diploma in Catering, 3 years’ experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant / kitchen offering traditional cuisine

  • Experience Length : 3 years

Job Description/Requirements

Designing menus that are appealing, cost-effective, and appropriate for the traditional Kenyan cuisine.
Cooking dishes, ensuring high standards of quality and meal freshness are maintained
Ensuring food safety and good maintenance of the kitchen equipment.

Ordering ingredients, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste. Supervising kitchen staff and coaching the cooks
