Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the college and ensure efficient service delivery.

  • Coordinate activities across academic, administration, finance, admissions,

    examinations, ICT, marketing, and student affairs departments.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies, procedures, and quality

    standards.

  • Ensure compliance with TVETA, TVET CDACC, Ministry of Education, and other

    regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor departmental performance and prepare operational reports for management.

  • Lead institutional planning, resource allocation, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Coordinate college events, examinations, graduations, and official functions.

  • Ensure excellent customer service and student satisfaction across all campuses.

  • Supervise departmental heads and support staff to achieve institutional objectives.

  • Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

    Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Education Management, Public Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in operations, administration, or institutional management, preferably in a TVET or higher education institution.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and institutional management

    systems.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
