Field Sales

Responsibilities

·        Physical visitation to clients

·        Soliciting for advertising form clients across the country.

·        Booking adverts

·        Maintaining relationships with clients both public and private entities

·        Client will be advising who visit

·        Advertising for handbook and directory

·        Sourcing for advertisers for the company

·        Develop a strong relationship with client contact(s); act as back-up to the Account Manager and Senior Account Executives        

·        Develop and maintain successful relationships with key media members ·       

·        Liaising on a daily basis with clients, often via telephone and email; ·        

·        Relationship building and networking with colleagues, clients and the media; ·      

·        Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs, for opportunities for clients.

·        Working as part of an account team to develop client proposals and implement the PR activity

·        Preparing regular (monthly, quarterly) client reports

·        Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media

·        Identify, pitch and follow-up with editorial opportunities and new media opportunities

·        Promoting news stories and features to the media

 Requirements: ·  

• Candidates with experience in advertising for publication is an added advantage.    

• Experience in customer relations  

• Must be able to write proposals       

• Experience in tele marketing

• Strong writing skills, proof will be required  

• Project management skills     

• Proficient in Microsoft applications i.e. word, power point, excel, outlook    

• Minimum two years experience in similar position   

• Knowledge and experience in media relations

Retainer of 30k and comms of between 10 to 20% depending on performance
