General Manager

Key Responsibilities

•   Provide overall leadership and direction to ensure company objectives and performance targets are met.

•   Oversee day-to-day operations including production, sales, HR, logistics, and finance.

•   Develop and execute strategic business plans to enhance growth, productivity, and

  profitability.

•   Drive operational efficiency through effective systems, workflows, and resource

  management.

•   Monitor and evaluate the company’s financial performance, budgets, and cost structures.

•   Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across all departments.

•   Ensure timely and high-quality execution of client orders, maintaining excellent service

  standards.

•   Oversee procurement, inventory management, and supply chain efficiency.

•   Strengthen relationships with corporate clients, suppliers, and strategic partners.

•   Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

•   Identify and mitigate operational risks to safeguard company assets and reputation.

•   Ensure full compliance with company policies, labor laws, and statutory requirements.

•   Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management processes.

•   Collaborate with marketing teams to drive brand awareness and customer retention.

•   Lead management reporting, performance reviews, and strategic decision-making

  sessions.

•   Foster innovation and introduce process improvements to enhance operational outcomes.

•   Represent the company at stakeholder meetings, client presentations, and industry events.

•   Provide regular progress updates and strategic recommendations to the Board or

  Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s Degree is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in operations or general management, preferably within retail, FMCG, or gifting industries.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.

•   Strong financial management, analytical, and strategic planning abilities.

•   Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

•   High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment.

•   Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP or management systems.

•   Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
