Job Description/Requirements

Position Objective & Responsibilities
· Conduct studies to discover ways to improve the efficiency of production processes
· Monitor every aspect of production to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards
· Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment to ensure smooth work operations
· Develop and promote new food products to boost sales and increase generated returns
· Set production objectives and implement action plans for achieving set targets
· Conduct forecast to identify potential risks and contingencies in a proposed project
· Prepare periodic reports to update upper management on food production activities
· Create work shifts to ensure round-the-clock food production operations
· Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and processed food products
· Ensure products and raw materials are stored properly at optimum conditions
· Carry out surveys to identify customer requirements and adjust to meet such needs
· Ensure all company regulations and government legislations are adhered to
· Works closely with quality control personnel to review product consistency and appearance to produce products that meet or exceed company standards and consumer expectations.
· Monitor and improve production yields to determine trends and areas of improvement.
· Meet or exceed production variance goal of production
· Monitor operation and maintenance expenses and research ways to reduce cost while maintaining product quality and prevent downtime
· Develop preventive maintenance program and spare parts program with Maintenance Manager that minimizes downtime to 5% of scheduled production
· Write and review established production schedules for all departments to insure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency as possible. Achieve labor variance goal of 0% of production.
· Implement inventory cycle count program that identifies real and potential inventory issues in finished goods, raw materials, packaging and containers.
· Meet or exceed inventory adjustment and product scrap budget of 0.25% of production
· Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet fill rate of 99% and on time shipment of 100%.
· Control and improve the flow of production while maintaining product quality.
· Work with Quality Assurance Manager to schedule human and equipment resources to achieve 99% compliance on sanitation logs and environmental testing program.
· Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals.
· Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity.
· Coordinate the hiring and the training of all manufacturing personnel both permanent and temporary.
· Analyze workforce requirements.
· Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to all operations employees
· Work closely with production team to ensure all members of the manufacturing team are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace.
· Maintain and support a superior safety and housekeeping program, including all timely communication initiatives.
· Work with production/purchasing manager to develop and improve supplier relationships and purchase price variance.
· Maintain physical security and access points to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
· The ability to perform other job-related duties as assigned or as needed.
Qualification
· MBA (Administration/Food Processing)
· Experience At least 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position, on a Head of Production.

Compensation & Benefits:
• Monthly Salary: Up to USD 5000 - 7,000
• Leave Eligibility: 30 days per year

· French-speaking proficiency is mandatory for this role.
· The ideal candidate should come from a similar industry (Supermarket) and should have strong exposure in Bakery & Pastry, Butchery (Meat, Chicken, Lamb, Fish), and Industrial Kitchen operations.
