NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME

SALARY:KSHS.35,000 PLUS COMMISSIONS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to increase bookings and brand visibility.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on marketing performance, booking trends, and competitor activity to senior management.
  • Promote the hotel through digital and traditional channels to attract local and international guests.
  • Represent the hotel in sales calls, exhibitions, and trade events to generate leads and establish partnerships.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agents, and multinational organizations.
  • Identify and secure new corporate accounts across various industries.
  • Prepare tailored sales proposals and presentations that meet the needs of diverse clients.
  • Coordinate with the reservations team to ensure a seamless and efficient booking process.
  • Track customer feedback and promptly address concerns to maintain a strong brand reputation.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage partnerships to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Align sales and marketing initiatives with operational goals through effective communication with internal departments.
  • Create and manage annual sales budgets and forecasts.


KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of the travel and tourism industry
  • Proficiency in managing marketing campaigns across digital platforms
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, multitask, and adapt to market trends
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate international clientele
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences
