Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical, structured, and strategic HR & Admin Assistant to support the transformation of our people systems into a performance-driven, data-led function. The ideal candidate will be deeply experienced in Performance Management (Balanced Scorecard, KPIs, OKRs), HR Maturity Models, 360° Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the full spectrum of HR operations — from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance, rewards, and development. This position will play a pivotal role in linking HR to business outcomes through frameworks that promote accountability, continuous improvement, and organizational excellence.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Performance Management & Strategy Alignment
² Implement and monitor the Balanced Scorecard (BSC), cascading KPIs and OKRs across all departments.
² Support design and execution of performance appraisal systems and employee scorecards.
² Develop performance dashboards and HR analytics tools in collaboration with IT.
² Facilitate performance review sessions, feedback mechanisms, and continuous performance improvement initiatives.
2. HR Maturity & Strategic HR Development
² Support institutionalization of HR & Organization-wide Maturity Models to measure, benchmark, and enhance organization capability and HR culture.
² Embed 360° Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) to align people strategy with corporate strategy.
² Coordinate career development initiatives, talent mapping, and competency frameworks.
3. Talent Management & Organizational Development
² Develop and maintain Job Descriptions (JDs) aligned to strategic goals.
² Support creation and execution of Career Pathways, Promotion Structures, and Skills Mapping Frameworks.
² Manage disciplinary and grievance processes in compliance with company policy and labor laws.
² Collaborate on designing and managing incentive schemes, bonus, and commission structures to reward performance.
4. Recruitment, Onboarding & Retention
² Manage end-to-end recruitment
² Coordinate strategic and standardized onboarding programs to ensure consistent employee integration.
² Maintain onboarding templates, checklists, and training schedules to enhance new hire experience.
² Track probation reviews and employee assimilation metrics.
5. Core HR & Administration
² Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and data in the HR Information System (HRIS).
² Support compliance, policy implementation, and periodic audits.
² Manage administrative functions including logistics, facilities, and vendor coordination.
² Ensure alignment of HR systems with IT to support automation and data-driven insights.
Qualifications & Competencies
² Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management
² Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP / RCHRP) is mandatory.
² 3–5 years of progressive HR experience.
² Proven understanding of Balanced Scorecard, KPIs, OKRs, and performance-based incentive frameworks.
² Experience in career path design, skills mapping, and HR systems implementation.
² Strong understanding of Kenyan labor laws and disciplinary management procedures.
² High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS/dashboarding tools.
² Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
