Position Overview:
Reporting to the Human Resources Assistant – Lead, you will be responsible for managing staff attendance, induction of new staff, performance evaluation and related delegated HR duties. 

Key Responsibilities:
• Management of daily attendance and leaves schedules and reporting accordingly.
• Preparing and issuing employment contracts to new employees and renewing existing employee contracts.
• Advertising on Job vacancies and thereafter conducting interviews and recruitments accordingly. Conducting new employees induction.
• Continuous performance evaluation and appraisals of employees on monthly basis.
• Accurately maintaining employee files and ensuring all the statutory documentations are in place.
• Answering phone calls, dealing with inquiries and providing general information to job applicants as per HR procedures
• Handling of Health and Safety issues i.e. filling of DOSH forms, organizing for first aid training and fire drills in liaison with Safety procedures.
• Maintaining up to date data on HR and preparing weekly and monthly HR reports and circulating to the management team.
• Issuing of rewards, warnings and termination letters accordingly.
• Counsels employees regarding human resources policies, procedures, and practices
• May perform non-human resources related administrative and operational duties
• Liasing with floor supervisors on training topics during the working Saturday’s
• Monitors performance evaluation process and Key Performance Indicators.
• Process Documentation.

Qualifications
• Diploma/Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management.
• 1 - 2 years’ HR administrative work experience in a busy HR set up.
• Experience in performance management and staff appraisals.
• Certified Human Resources professional (CHRP).
• Working knowledge of the Kenyan labour laws.
• Proficiency in MS office packages
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work cross functionally with minimal supervision.
• High level of integrity.
