Department: Human Resources
Job Purpose
To manage and support the company's human resource functions, ensuring effective employee management, compliance with employment regulations, and smooth HR operations within the transport environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee records.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance management.
• Manage attendance, leave, contracts, and employee documentation.
• Support payroll preparation and ensure accurate employee information.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and company HR policies.
• Coordinate staff training, performance management, and employee development.
• Support HR matters relating to drivers, conductors, operations and other transport staff.
• Maintain accurate and confidential HR records.
• Prepare HR reports and provide management with relevant workforce information.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2–3 years' HR experience, preferably within transport, logistics, or a related industry.
• Good knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
