Job summary
Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing and distribution of animal feeds raw materials, is seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Manager to oversee the full HR function for its Kenya operations.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Partner with the Country Manager to implement HR strategies aligned to business goals.
- Manage recruitment, workforce planning, and onboarding for plant and distribution staff.
- Oversee employee relations, disciplinary processes, and labour law compliance.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (NSSF, NHIF, PAYE, OSHA, Employment Act).
- Drive performance management, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports and provide strategic HR advisory support to management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
- Higher Diploma in HRM (IPM) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5–7 years’ HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and industrial relations.
- Experience managing a factory workforce is highly desirable.
