Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in the East African region, is looking to hire a Human Resource Officer who will be responsible for implementing and supporting HR strategies, policies, and programs across the organization.

  • Minimum Qualification : Bachelors
  • Experience Level : Mid level
  • Experience Length : 5 years

Job Description/Requirements

The Human Resource Officer will play a key role in implementing and supporting HR strategies, policies, and programs across the organization. This position involves managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

The ideal candidate will also oversee training and development initiatives, support employee engagement efforts, and collaborate with departmental heads to drive a positive, high-performance work culture.

This role requires a proactive and people-oriented professional who can balance strategic HR objectives with day-to-day operational needs. By effectively managing HR processes and promoting employee well-being, the Human Resource Officer will contribute significantly to the company’s goal of building an empowered, motivated, and productive workforce.


Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resource Management, preferably within a unionized manufacturing setup.
  • Strong understanding of Kenyan labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
