Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Office Location: Hybrid (Nairobi office + remote flexibility)
Working Hours: 00:30 – 09:30 EAT (Standard), 01:30 – 10:30 EAT (Daylight Savings)
Salary: KES 60,000 per month during probation, KES 65,000 after probation
Commission: KES 17,000 – 35,000 per placement (uncapped, depending on role seniority and fee size)
Client: Australian technology clients

Role Overview
• Global Capability is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist with strong experience in technical recruitment to support Australian clients hiring for AI and Machine Learning roles.
• The role focuses on structured candidate delivery and technical screening rather than business development.
• You will work closely with clients to source, assess, and present high-quality technical talent across AI/ML roles.
• Contribute directly to candidate identification, engagement, and shortlisting for highly technical positions.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the candidate side of the recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through to shortlisting.
• Build and maintain high-quality pipelines of AI/ML candidates aligned to client requirements.
• Support clients through structured recruitment delivery rather than sales activity.
• Conduct structured technical screening interviews for AI/ML candidates.
• Assess hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, AWS AI tools, Python, C++, and Computer Vision frameworks.
• Present qualified candidates clearly and accurately to clients.
• Conduct market mapping for AI/ML talent in Australia.
• Use LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to identify relevant talent pools and market trends.
• Provide insights to support targeted recruitment approaches.
• Identify, engage, and qualify candidates aligned to role requirements.
• Maintain strong candidate relationships and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Track KPIs such as time-to-submit and interview-to-offer ratios.
• Work closely with Australian clients on technical recruitment campaigns.
• Maintain accurate and well-organized records of research activity and candidate data.
• Provide feedback from the market to refine search and delivery strategies.

Required Experience & Skills
• 12 months+ experience in technical recruitment.
• Experience placing AI, ML, or Data professionals.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML terminology, tooling, and real-world deployment experience.
• Experience recruiting for international markets preferred.
• Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools.
• Strong attention to detail and clear written communication skills.
