Job Summary
The HR Officer is responsible for supporting day-to-day human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll assistance, compliance, training coordination, and maintaining employee records. The role ensures smooth HR operations and alignment with company policies and labour laws.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Post job advertisements and screen applications
- Schedule interviews and conduct initial interviews
- Manage onboarding and induction programs
2. Employee Relations
- Address employee queries and concerns
- Support conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures
- Maintain positive employee engagement
3. HR Administration
- Maintain employee records and HR databases
- Prepare HR documents (letters, contracts, policies)
- Track attendance and leave records
4. Payroll & Benefits Support
- Coordinate insurance and other employee benefits
- Assist in payroll processing
- Maintain benefits and compensation records
5. Compliance & Policies
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies
- Support audits and statutory documentation
- Update HR policies when required
6. Training & Development
- Coordinate training programs
- Maintain training records
- Coordinate in performance appraisal processes
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
· Minimum 3 years of HR experience (preferred)
· Must be registered with IHRM
· CHRP completed or ongoing is an added advantage
· Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
· Proficiency in MS Office and HR software
