About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and mature Legal Secretary to join a busy law firm. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, professional, and proficient in computer applications related to secretarial and legal office work. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running and provide efficient administrative and clerical support.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing legal documents, correspondence, and filing systems
• Typing and formatting legal letters, pleadings, and reports
• Handling phone calls, emails, and client appointments professionally
• Maintaining diaries, court dates, and meeting schedules
• Supporting advocates with daily office operations
• Ensuring confidentiality of legal and client information
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Diploma or Certificate in Secretarial Studies, Office Administration, or related field
• Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and document management systems
• Previous experience working in a law firm or legal office is highly preferred
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of professionalism and maturity
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
