oriented Marketing Executive to drive their brand presence, expand market share, and foster strong client
relationships. This pivotal role requires a proven professional with a data-driven approach to developing
and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with core business objectives, brand
positioning, and market growth goals.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in maximizing company awareness among key commercial
buyers and industrial partners, driving lead generation, and translating marketing performance into tangible
business metrics.
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Executive to join a growing paper manufacturing startup. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote a range of paper products. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in marketing and sales.
Key responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitor activity, and growth opportunities
- Analyze customer feedback and sales data to inform marketing decisions
- Track return trends and compile clear reports for internal team
- Brand Management & Campaign Development
- Develop and maintain a strong brand identity for paper products
- Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing materials and platforms
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns tailored to the Kenyan market
- Coordinate the production of promotional materials for trade shows, client meetings, and product launches
- Digital Marketing
- Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Create localized, engaging content and respond to customer engagement via DMs, ad comments, and threads
- Oversee email marketing, SEO, and PPC advertising
- Monitor and optimize digital performance using analytics tools
- Sales Support & Product Launches
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide marketing tools and strategies that drive revenue
- Support distributors and retailers with product information and promotional assets
- Coordinate product launches and promotional events, including sample distribution and point-of-sale materials
- Partnerships & Outreach
- Build relationships with retailers, distributors, and strategic partners
- Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events
- Reporting & Budgeting
- Prepare reports on marketing performance, ROI, and KPIs
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective execution
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the FMCG industry, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of technical products and the ability to create relevant marketing content.
- Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and email marketing platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
