Job Description/Requirements
Position: Medical Sales Representative
Location: Nairobi (with frequent travel across Kenya)
Key Responsibilities
· Territory Development: Identify, qualify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned regions (hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, physiotherapy centres).
· Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring timely follow-up, product demonstrations, and solving service issues.
· Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective planning and execution.
· Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio (e.g., diagnostic devices, braces & supports, TENS machines) and convey clinical benefits to healthcare professionals.
· Market Intelligence: Gather competitive intelligence, monitor trends, and share feedback with marketing and product teams to refine strategies.
· Reporting: Prepare weekly activity reports, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates for the Sales Manager.
Candidate Profile
· Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Marketing or related field.
· Experience: Minimum 1 year proven sales experience in medical devices, diagnostics, or pharmaceutical products.
Skills & Attributes:
· Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
· Excellent communication and presentation abilities
· Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
· Proficient MS Office
