Job Description/Requirements

Step into the future of African healthcare commerce..

We’re not simply another distributor—we’re a tech-powered e-procurement platform that lets hospitals, pharmacies, government agencies and NGOs source everything from essential medicines to cutting-edge oncology products in a few clicks. 2025 is our scale-up year, and to keep pace with surging demand we're creating a “hybrid” Medical Sales strike-team―people who can win business from a laptop on Monday and close face-to-face in Kakamega or Mombasa on Friday.

What life in the role looks like

Picture this:

It’s 08:00 on a Tuesday. You’re in our Nairobi HQ “digital pit”, coffee steaming beside your keyboard, CRM is open; you’ve segmented 50 level 4 public-hospital accounts and loaded an ABM email drip showcasing our Essential Medicines List (EMLs) starter kits. By lunch you’ve run two virtual demos on Teams, qualified three MEDDPICC opportunities (all logged—zero dirty data), and nudged procurement officers on WhatsApp Business for pending RFQs.

Thursday, 06:30. You’re on a matatu to Eldoret with a demo iPad. A pharmacist at a tier-III mission hospital greets you; you walk her through our e-procurement portal, highlight dynamic pricing for EML generics, and capture “voice-of-customer insights the moment you’re back in the car. Before midnight those notes—and a competitor’s price sheet you photographed—are safely inside CRM, ready for analytics on Friday. The rhythm alternates weekly: one sprint inside, one out in the field. You’ll close the distance between virtual convenience and real-world trust.

Your canvas of impact

a. Revenue builder: Own a personal target of KES 5 Million gross sales per month—the first rung toward the company’s monthly ambition.

b. Market shaper: Educate procurement, pharmacy, and clinical teams on the economics of bulk e-ordering and our revolutionary “subscription kits”.

c. Barrier breaker: Run a mini Force-Field Analysis for every account—spot there straining forces (internet gaps, long tender cycles) and swing drivers in our favour.

d. Data champion: Keep your pipeline so clean the CFO trusts it for cash-flow planning. A 100 % CRM hygiene score is non-negotiable.

e. Craft micro-storytelling email sequences for level 2–6B hospitals.

f. Run narrative-driven PPT demos on Teams/Zoom that show for example the Journey From Stock-out to Same-Day Delivery.” g. Host or co-host a 10-minute “Pulse Podcast” segment—spotlighting a customer success story, then push it via LinkedIn & WhatsApp

h. Visit hospitals/clinics in assigned counties; present products with a story-based leave-behind deck.

i. Record quick, on-the-road podcast sound bites from pharmacists (Topic example “What I wish distributors knew”).

The foundations we’re looking for

a) Academic core: BSc in Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Laboratory Medicine—plus six-month sales internship.

b) Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) Certification. MANDATORY)

c) Digital fluency: You’re comfortable with dashboards, pivot tables, LinkedIn filters and video demos.

d) Basic CRM / Excel skills; curiosity for Cloud based ERP, AARRR, ABM dashboards

e) Persuasive DNA: You can translate milligrams into monetary value, handle objections with MEDDPICC logic, and negotiate so both sides smile.

f) Languages: Excellent English & Swahili. Bonus points for French or regional dialects. g) Mobility: Valid driving licence.

Our hiring journey

a. Apply online (Cover Letter, CV + a 90-second video telling us your proudest sales moment).

b. Quiz on Sales methodologies, pharma basics, data reasoning, and ethics.

c. PPT & Dual role-play: Virtual demo + live detailing drill with our trainers.

d. Panel interview (Sales, Medical Affairs, Compliance).

e. Reference & integrity check.

We review applications as they land—deadline 30 June 2025 but don’t wait; the earlier you shine, the faster you interview.

Bring your drive, your empathy, your willingness to learn. Together we’ll make medicine simpler, faster, and fairer for every facility in Kenya.
