We deliver innovative, smart and practical solutions to strengthen global social, economic and environmental sustainability. Among our main clients are IFC, EBRD, EC, KfW, GIZ, World Bank, AfDB and ADB as well as commercial banks and non-bank financial institutions.

For our strongly growing portfolio, we are looking for a Project Coordinator (f/m/x) with experience in Entrepreneurship Support Services in the innovation ecosystem and/or Digital Finance. The initial contractis for 24 months, renewable based on performance.

Your tasks

• You support the acquisition process for development finance projects, including the identification of consulting opportunities in the business Startup/innovation space, preparation of expressions of interest and technical proposals, expert recruitment, and other related activities

• You coordinate the implementation of innovation related and sustainable development projects and support the project management of on-going projects (regular exchanges with project experts and partners, drafting project reports, reviewing and approving contracts, participation in meetings and events)

• You undertake short term missions to contribute to project success (feasibility studies, training assistance or other technical contributions to projects)

• You use social media and other platforms to promote our work

Your profile

• University degree, preferably at Masters’ level, in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Banking, or related field or equivalent professional experience;

• Sufficient relevant working experience, preferable in innovation spaces, commercial banks or other financial consultancy firms;

• Experience working with business incubators, accelerators, and related innovation hubs in an advisory and/or operational capacity;

• Sufficient relevant working experience, preferable related to Entrepreneurial Support Services and/or Digital Financial Services;

• Ability to connect to a network of key innovation ecosystems, including Startups, incubators, accelerators, investors, and other entrepreneurial/innovation organizations;

• Interest in working in finance sector advisory projects in emerging and developing countries;

• Motivated, dynamic and flexible to work in a multicultural, fast-changing environment;

• Experience in offering technical expertise and assistance to partner institutions;

• Fluent in Business English; good knowledge of French or another foreign language would be an important asset;

• Commitment to take over responsibility and proactively contribute to business outcomes;

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, writing and communication skills, including ability to coordinate activities with several (high level) stakeholders;

• Strong analytical and planning skills;

• Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines;

• Professional experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Sharepoint.
