Job Summary

The Rider ensures fast, reliable delivery and collection of items, including appliances, spare parts, and orders. The role supports smooth workflow through timely pickups, inter-branch transfers, motorbike upkeep, accurate documentation, and strong customer service, using discipline and solid route knowledge.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery & Pickup Execution

  • Deliver small appliances, parts, and documents across Nairobi.
  • Pick up customer items requiring repair or replacement.
  • Ensure timely, safe, and accurate deliveries.

2. Inter-Branch & Technical Support Movements

  • Transport items between branches, stores, and service teams.
  • Support technicians with part movement and urgent dispatches.
  • Respond quickly to on-demand tasks.

3. Motorbike Safety & Basic Maintenance

  • Conduct daily checks (fuel, tyres, lights, brakes, cleanliness).
  • Maintain compliance with all road and safety regulations.
  • Report mechanical issues immediately.

4. Customer Interaction & Professionalism

  • Interact politely and professionally with customers during deliveries.
  • Communicate expected arrival times and updates clearly.
  • Represent the brand positively at all times.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, signatures, receipts, and proof of delivery.
  • Update movement reports and GPS screenshots when requested.
  • Ensure zero discrepancies in records.

Qualifications

  • Valid motorcycle riding license.
  • Strong knowledge of Nairobi routes.
  • Smartphone proficiency (GPS, WhatsApp, calls).
  • 1+ year delivery/rider experience preferred.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
