Role Purpose:
The Roaming Manager is responsible for roaming activities coordination, management of the roaming agreements, service launches, implementation of roaming strategies, monitoring of technical roaming activities and Data Clearing House (DCH) and Financial Clearing House (FCH) management. The role will provide support and guidance to roaming technical teams (IREG and TADIG)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing new roaming business and achieve given revenue targets.
  • Handle negotiations and establish new roaming agreements & sign preferred agreements with key operators as roaming traffic increases for wholesale voice, SMS, and Data.
  • Maintaining current technical information with roaming partners, hub providers and keeping account and system information up-to-date.
  • Relationship Management of all roaming Partners, test SIM exchange/management and technical information exchange.
  • Budget and Planning; Business Analysis for Revenue Growth
  • Performance reporting on service delivered and revenue by roaming partners.
  • Monitor the roaming QoS and operation of roaming related platforms. Monitoring and performing reconciliations between network elements (e.g. signalling messages, CDR’s & UDR’s, OM’s, etc) and billing, and aid in developing associated procedures and measurements.
  • Troubleshooting and escalation of roaming issues with roaming partners. Provide 2nd line support, maintenance, and related reporting on roaming.
  • Define processes to monitor fraud and follow up with roaming partners and vendors to control fraud losses.

Academic background & Professional Knowledge:
  • Bachelors Degree in IT or related field
  • At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role
