Com Twenty One Ltd, a leading ICT solutions company is seeking to recruit an experienced Sales Account Associate in Nairobi. The person will be responsible for managing the account portfolio to help achieve long-term success through development of positive relationships and handling customer needs leading to new sales.
Job Description
• The Sales Account Associate will be responsible to grow a healthy sales pipeline through development of long-term customer relationships, with the objective of meeting sales targets.
• Ensure response to customer queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience.
Key responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success; ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
• Develop & implement sales strategies with the aim of achieving set sales targets
• Develop positive relationships with clients
• Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
• Resolve client requests and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
• Ensure sales increase and revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling and securing SLA renewals
• Report on the status of accounts and transactions
• Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
• Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
• Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
Required Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
• Degree in IT/ Higher Diploma in IT/ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or relevant field
• Sales Certification in IT is highly desirable.
• 5 years’ hands on sales experience within a similar role in the ICT industry.
• IT solutions knowledge and proven work experience as a Sales Account Associate
• Excellent people skills and good customer care skills
• Ability to deliver excellent customer experience
• Result oriented and ability to perform under pressure
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner and good presentation skills; both oral & written
• An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
• Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office
• High analytical skills and understanding of sales performance metrics
• Excellent negotiation skills, business acumen and a problem-solving attitude
• Should be a team player with high integrity
