Job Description/Requirements
We are seeking a motivated Sales Agent to join our team and help us expand our business directory by acquiring new business clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and prospecting potential clients in various industries and converting them to paid sign ups on our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify potential clients in Nairobi across various industries
- Reach out to potential clients through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings
- Present Listing Kenya's platform and its benefits to potential clients
- Negotiate deals with potential clients and close sales
- Follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and sales activities in a CRM system
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in a B2B environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to think creatively
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus
