Sales and Marketing Executive

The Institute invites applicants to fill the vacant position of a Sales and Marketing Executive.

Salary: Ksh 35,000-40,000 plus commissions

Reporting

The Sales and Marketing Executive shall report to the Business Development Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Sale and Marketing executive will adhere to organization systems and policies of IST.

• Conduct the external market analysis and competitor analysis to look at trends in education industry with respect to corporate learning solutions.

• Keep track of competitors’ and customers’ activities.

• Keep good relations with customers- both current and past.

• Make calls to the potential leads and arrange meetings with them.

• Meet corporate customers walking in with training enquiries or meet them as per the meeting schedule.

• Identify and Counsel the corporate customers for their training needs.

• Do the training gap analysis and set the training objectives.

• Prepare quotations, send them to client on time and follow up with them.

• Work towards building partnerships with corporate and with recruitment agencies.

• Attend/conduct seminars and exhibitions.

• Take corrective actions (if any) as determined by sales head after analyzing the sales performance.

• Maintain and update sales database and will regularly maintain a mail shot to all the enquiries.

• Always update the website for any IST’s information on course, schedule, seminars etc.

• Do follow ups whenever required.

• Manage client relationship and client satisfaction.

• Any other task assigned by the management.

Skills & Qualifications.

• Diploma or degree in any business related field.

• At least 2 years of proven work experience.
