Job Summary

Coordinate mobilization activities in the allocated region. Performs any other related duty as may be assigned by the supervisor depending on needs assessment. Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.

Job Description/Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Cultivate new leads within the sales territory.
  • Coordinate mobilization activities in the allocated region.
  • Performs any other related duty as may be assigned by the supervisor depending on needs assessment
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Visiting existing clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Travel throughout the territory and visit customers on a recurring basis
  • Manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.
  • Represent the brand during all customer and prospect interactions
  • Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions.
  • Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
  • Attains sales KPIs that are outlined by the company.

Skills and Qualifications; 

  • Diploma in marketing, economics, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of work experience preferably in field sales.
  • Understanding of social mobilization concept in urban settings.
  • People person with the ability to blend in with the community.
  • Basic Computer application: Ms. Office, report writing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Good reporting and communication skills
  • Good language skills (oral and written) in Kiswahili and English
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
