Sales Assistant

We are seeking a friendly, proactive, and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team. The Sales Assistant will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining store appearance, and assisting with sales and transactions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide product information and recommend items based on customer needs
• Process sales transactions using the POS system (cash, credit, mobile payments)
• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards
• Replenish stock, organize shelves, and manage displays
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock items
• Handle customer complaints and escalate when necessary
• Support promotional campaigns and in-store events
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma in Sales/Customer Service is a plus)
• Proven experience in retail or customer service (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math and computer literacy (POS experience is an advantage)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Team player with a willingness to learn
