Job Description/Requirements
- Hard selling and negotiation with potential distributors and partnering with outlets, small & medium high-end restaurants, hotels, and retailers directly.
- Develop new business opportunities and bring in clients to achieve set targets and ensure business growth.
- Maintain effective client service through use of the company’s identified CRM.
- Conduct monthly analysis of sales to help determine which clients to critically focus on to maximize sales volume and growth.
- Conduct and track market intelligence and guide the team on opportunities on the ground and how best to take advantage of them.
- Work closely with the marketing lead to identify business development opportunities as well as develop and deliver sales pitches.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in sales, business, marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in luxury wine/spirits or hospitality.
- A strong and proven track record in B2B & B2C sales.
- In-depth industry knowledge and passion for wines & spirits including varieties, regions, and tasting proficiency.
- Proven experience with diverse clientele.
- Excellent interpersonal and strong organizational, persuasive, and negotiation skills.
- Self driven and Results oriented with a competitive spirit.
