Our client is an established company in food manufacturing that has been in existence for over 30 years.



Role Summary


As the Sales Logistics Manager, you will play you will play a key role in supervising the distribution, delivery and supply of product in the company. You shall be tasked with route planning, budget analysis and processing of relevant documentation in accordance with the Sales SOPs. 



Key Responsibilities:


Operations and Logistics: Fleet trip planning in line with sales plan and orders. Continuous fleet optimization and overall fleet utilization. Route performance review and cross collaboration with commercial in optimizing our delivery cycles and route structures. Leveraging technology to improve fleet technology. Evaluation of budgets and expenditures.


People Management: Coach team in correct execution of tasks, operational and technical. Drive performance management. Ensure team understand and adhere to all logistics SOPs and overall quality standards.


Performance Analysis & Reporting: Preparation of routine performance reports. Leveraging insights on all data points to prepare and present reports.


Communication: Communicate team goals and regularly review to ensure team alignment. Prepare for and lead the daily shift meeting making use of standard agenda and ensuring active participation. Respond and resolve complaints and problems.



Qualifications & Experience 


• Degree in supply chain, management science or business operations and management related field

• Minimum of 8 years plus proven logistics and fleet management experience in FMCG.

• Must have BCE Licence and know how to drive a truck/lorry. Driving test will be conducted

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Experience in project management.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze and optimize operations in a systematic and detailed manner.
