Our client is a leading producer of industrial minerals. They seek a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead their sales team and drive revenue growth. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
Sales Management
· Execute sales plans for assigned territory, market segment, including recommended accounts, product sales volumes, pricing, visit planning, account potential analysis, and sales budgeting.
· Provide, through written reports, an ongoing position at each account or potential account in the sales territory and actions planned.
· Conduct and coordinate suitable market analysis to support the objectives of the company and principal.
· Ensure effective communication and prepare reports on new business projects / opportunities of the assigned market segment on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
· Identify and develop new markets through new applications in line with the corporate Marketing strategy.
· Manage all aspects of the account interface, including complaint management.
· Provide information such that the company may provide new products and information for the future.
· Provide market information as required
Communication
· Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, including key account customers.
· Visit customers and potential customers regularly to develop strong relationships.
· Conduct and conclude negotiations with customers as directed.
· Provide for technical customer assistance as required.
· Work with others in the local sales team and consult the superior for important, critical decisions.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience with specialty chemicals sales experience such as HPMC, RDP, Epoxy resins & curing agents, PU resins, contact adhesive raw materials, paints & coatings.
· Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and achieving revenue growth targets
· Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships
· Must be willing to travel
