Our client, a fast-growing EdTech company providing innovative learning and creative devices—such as tablets and smart screens—for young learners and families, is looking to hire a Sales & Marketing Executive / Growth Marketer to help drive market expansion and sustainable growth.
This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution in channel development, partnerships, and growth campaigns. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, data-driven, and able to think beyond traditional sales and marketing playbooks to unlock scalable growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Development & Distribution
Identify and develop new distribution channels such as supermarkets, NGOs, government procurement, and educational institutions.
Design and execute tailored entry strategies including pilot campaigns and retail activations.
Build and manage a pipeline of potential partners and distributors across Nairobi and key regions.
Strategic Partnerships
Create and present compelling partnership proposals to B2B prospects.
Lead end-to-end negotiations and onboarding for new partners.
Maintain a structured partner management system to track outreach and performance.
Marketing Campaigns & Growth Initiatives
Propose and execute growth-focused marketing campaigns with clear KPIs.
Think creatively and beyond obvious marketing channels to uncover new opportunities.
Design experiments to test campaign performance, messaging, or channel efficacy.
Work closely with the design and digital team to produce engaging, on-brand content.
Data, Reporting & Optimization
Use digital tools, CRM systems, and automation platforms to track campaign performance, lead flow, and partner engagement.
Analyze results and recommend data-driven improvements.
Prepare monthly growth performance reports.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
3+ years’ experience in growth marketing, channel sales, business development, or strategic partnerships.
Proven experience developing and scaling growth strategies and campaigns.
Strong understanding of Kenya’s education, retail, and tech markets, with an eye on emerging trends.
Experience working with experimentation frameworks to drive continuous improvement.
Ability to develop scalable ideas and think strategically about market penetration.
Proficient in CRM tools like Odoo, Trello, or other marketing automation platforms.
Strong digital fluency and comfort using digital tools to support growth (CRM, email marketing, analytics, automation).
Excellent communicator—clear, concise, and persuasive in both writing and speech.
Self-driven, results-oriented, and highly organized with a bias toward action.
Prior experience in EdTech, FMCG, or startup environments is a plus.
