Job Description/Requirements

Our client, one of East Africa’s leading companies operating in the steel industry is looking to recruit a Sales and Marketing officer to join their sales and marketing team.


Overview of the role

Drive sales & marketing activities and implement impactful sales strategies to increase sales revenue.


Required Qualifications, Experience & Competences.

• Develop strategic business plans and effective sales strategies to expand the customer base and ensure market presence.

• Implement sales and marketing activities to grow the brand

• Manage the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for all products.

• Build strong customer relationships by understanding and meeting their needs.

• Collaborate with other sales managers to achieve set goals and targets

• Identify market trends, emerging opportunities, and competition for growth.

• Develop and implement sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of operating budgets.

• Present accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to management.

• Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results. 


Required Qualifications, Experience & Competences.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business-related field
  • 4-5 years proven success in sales and marketing skills
  • Focus on understanding customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Possess analytical, creative and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability to adapt in a competitive and fast-paced environments.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel across the country
